Thank you Michael Fisher and Robert Teachy for bringing Industrious to 200 Central in Downtown St. Petersburg.
Coworking operator Industrious has signed a deal for three floors in 200 Central in downtown St. Petersburg — its fourth location in the Tampa Bay region and its second with Third Lake Partners.
Industrious doesn't sign leases with landlords; instead, it signs property management agreements, similar to a hotel flag. Its St. Petersburg location will be 37,000 square feet. Construction costs were not disclosed, but office buildout costs in urban environments average around $200 per square foot, which would peg the Industrious buildout at just over $7 million.
It is set to open in the second quarter of 2021. The Perry Co. of Ybor City has been hired as the general contractor.
200 Central, the tallest office building in downtown St. Petersburg, will be home to coworking operator Industrious.
In a partnership with Third Lake Partners LLC, an investment advisory firm in Tampa, Industrious will operate nearly 37,000 square feet at 200 Central on the third, fourth and fifth floors.
The new site, Industrious 200 Central, will feature shared workplaces for teams of various sizes. It’s set to open in the second quarter of 2021, with sales for the space beginning in January, a news release said.
