Coworking operator Industrious has signed a deal for three floors in 200 Central in downtown St. Petersburg — its fourth location in the Tampa Bay region and its second with Third Lake Partners.
Industrious doesn't sign leases with landlords; instead, it signs property management agreements, similar to a hotel flag. Its St. Petersburg location will be 37,000 square feet. Construction costs were not disclosed, but office buildout costs in urban environments average around $200 per square foot, which would peg the Industrious buildout at just over $7 million.
It is set to open in the second quarter of 2021. The Perry Co. of Ybor City has been hired as the general contractor.
